If you've just clicked a "Click To Kill A Zombie" picture, then congratulations! You've just participated in the "Kill A Zombie" program. Now, what you have to do, is to kill an other one. If this is your first time killing a Zombie, then start your legend right away by killing one.  Normally the internet is full of them, so it shouldn't take long before you find one. Wait, there's one already on below. Kill it!!!:

Patch Notes - 20.12.2010 (dd.mm.yy) - 1.0.1

This is what I call a "patch"; when I change the background, change adress, change the name of the blog etc. The most important thing for you to know is that a patch means changement. This wasn't really my first patch, because the other ones were "betas"; they don't count:
  • Changed the background
  • Moved "Best Mac Apps (Free)" and "Best Mac Apps (Paid)" into a same page; "Best Mac Apps (Paid/Free)
  • Moved "Best Mac Games (Free)" and "Best Mac Games (Paid)" into a same page; "Best Mac Games (Paid/Free)"

I Have Reorganized The "My Games..." Pages

As you "old readers" maybe notice, I have reorganized my games list pages. My Wii and PS3 games are both in My Console Games, and Mac and PC games are in My Mac/PC Games.

I have added a few games too to My Mac/PC Games, as Halo: Combat Evolved

I will also finally start really making reviews and gameplay of my games. I can't yet do video/photo/audio gameplay of my PS3 games due to lack of equipment, but will post my own youtube video links of mac games gameplay.

Check out The World of Warcrafters!

As many other bloggers, I have other blogs too, and not just this one. You can go check out all of my other blogs at the "Other Blogs" page, but this post is about only one blog, The World of Warcrafters!

The World of Warcrafters started a little bit slowly, as did this and many other of my blogs, but now, I will finally dedicate myself for it too, because my readers deserve it. If you don't know what my blog is about (World of Warcraft), then here is a link for quick information; World of Warcraft is a highly popular MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing Game), and SO ADDICTIVE! It is also quite expensive since you have to pay 12$/month for playing it (+the game itself +new content). That is why I also made a "How To Play WoW for free page on my blog, since many don't have the money for playing WoW, but that is why there are private servers!

Please feel free to check out this "fresh" blog of mine with great potential and also comment this post!

MacBook Pro 15" i7 2.66 - Hardware Review

MacBook Pro i3/i5/i7s have been out for quite some time already, and even me, I have had on for almost 2 months. It is now that I make the review about it though, so I hope you like it:

The MacBook Pro 15" Review

Specs

  • i7 2.66 GHz (Processor)
  • 4 GB 1067 MHz DDR3 (Memory 4GB)
  • 500 GB 5400rpm Serial ATA (Hard Drive)
  • 15.4" Glossy Screen (Not Hi-Res)
  • NVIDIA GeForce GT 330M (512MB) + Intel HD Graphics (video card/graphics processor)
  • + other things as USB 2.0 ports, 8-9h battery (watching movie or surfing) etc...

Overview

The MacBook Pro 13/15/17" looks just great from the outside and "inside" (when laptop is open). I personally prefer the glossy one, because the colours are more vivid, and the screen's borders look just cooler. Especially the i7 2.66 one feels like a monster when it comes to gaming, and even more when exporting HD videos or editing them. In anyway you use it, the hard work will take only a breeze, and you will enjoy all the way.

Performance

It's performance is just "beyond limits" (it is supposed to). Exporting a full HD video in Screenflow (go to TheMacApper's Best Paid Mac Apps) or iMovie on MBP (MacBook Pro) 15" takes of course more than some "normal" videos which export maybe sometimes (depends on the video and the program) faster than what they are long. I promise you to give you some statistics soon, and I will edit this post to post some, but also post some "independently".

Modern Warfare 2 - Game Review

modern-warfare-2-standard-ps3-cover.jpg (280×280)

Modern Warfare 2, or mostly referred as "MW2", is a hugely popular game made by Infinity Wards, and published by Activision, which are both huge popularities within gamers. Modern Warfare 2 is part of the Call of Duty game series, but unlike it's predecessor, Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, it doesn't really use that Call of Duty, or more frequently used "CoD" title. It does continue alongside the same storyline as in "CoD 4" though.
modern-warfare-pc-2jpg.jpg (1024×640)
For many single players, this game was kind of disappointing, because it's single player campaign is so short, and insignificant when compared to it's online multiplayer side, which this game is almost all about. The online multiplayer mode of this games has to be the most addictive one, because there are 70 levels to get to, and then when you have reached level 70, you can start a prestige level, meaning that you will start over at level one, but you will keep your titles, emblems and experience (of actually playing). As you get more levels, you get more weapons, and each weapon has it's own challenges. When you complete the challenges, you get extra experience for it. Actually, there are a lot of other challenges too, like falling from over 30 feet, so that you die, or to kill all the enemy side's top 5 players.

The online multiplayer mode has also different game modes such as Team Deathmatch (Kill the enemy team members for winning the game. Respawning is on.), Search and Destroy (You will have to either defend or destroy the targets. Respawning is off.) and so on.

I couldn't possibly tell everything about it, because it is something that you just have to experience yourself, and even if it is getting a little bit older, it is still worth buying (especially with the price drops)!

Be Sure To Donate!!!

Be sure to donate, so that I can get both hardware, and games that I can review, and so make this blog's content even better. I am now saving for a MacBook Pro and a Nikon D5000. I am also saving for other things, but these two would be the most important ones. If you donate using the "normal" paypal donation widget, then I will probably buy new games, and smaller things with it, but with these "Chipins" I will buy bigger and more expensive products.

Rain Design mStand - Added To Shopping List

mStand is just simply a such good product. All the other laptop stands loose when "fighting" against this safe, aluminium (not sure) laptop stand, that even looks great. Okay, it isn't maybe as good as Griffin Elevator when talking about portability, but it sure is safer. The angle that it is, is juts perfect for typing on the laptop's own keyboard, and the screen is just at a perfect height. I added it to my Shopping List as fourth, because it really is a must have, but not the MOST important thing neither...

Seagate 1.5 External Hard Drive - Added To Shopping List

I also added a 1.5TB External Hard Drive to my Shopping List, because I will need a lot if space to go with my MacBook Pro, so that I can both protect my stuff (Timemachine) and just put some stuff on it. It runs at 7200rpm and has 32mb of cache.

MacBook Pro 13"/15"/17" - Added To Shopping List

I am not yet sure which MacBook Pro I will get, but I will most probably get the most portable one, the 13". MBP (MacBook Pro) 13" is quite okay to carry with you, but is quite much slower than it's bigger brothers (15" and 17"). I am not sure if I even do have enough money for the bigger laptops, so I am going to get the 13" (most probably). The more I think about it, and I just want to get the 15" laptop again, but I guess that I can't...

GAME (Black, fake leather) - Review 3.5*/5*

I just under a week ago bought two of these because they were in sale (50% off), and I just find them amazing. They both have two speakers and a subwoofer, and I can connect them to my PS3, Wii, MacBook Pro 13", iPod Nano (16GB) or anything else that has a music player inside. I also connected them both to each other, so that they both now play the same song/music/audio. I just find them amazing, and one thing so amazing about them is the comfort that they give. You can swing on them as much as you want because the subwoofer (situated in the back) won't break unless you are on a critically unstable floor/level, and that is just so fun to do. The only real con that comes to me now, is it's short and vulnerable cords. It's been about 2 days that I started using them, and I already broke two of my cords. The sound is great though, but not as good when listening from iPod. The sound is a lot better if the cords are connected to a TV, computer or music player. Even with iPod, it still is quite good to listen to, and it could be only some of my songs, but I doubt it. Overall, I give it 3.5*/5*, which is really great. I totally recommend it to everyone, even a little bit older. This is "meant" for kids and young, but even older (adults) seem to like it.

Nikon D5000 - Added To Shopping List

Nikon D5000 is a high quality camera, with a quite reasonable price. It will be quite important for my "work"m since one of my blogs need me and my awesome photos, which I will be able to get with this little "toy". I will keep you posted when I see this coming, cheers.

Razer DeathAdder - Added To Shopping List

Razer DeathAdder seems to be a really high quality gaming mouse, that even has a "small" price. It is triple the cheaper than Razer Mamba (wireless gaming mouse), but still has 3500dpi. I am going to buy it "closely", when I will have enough money. It is not the first on my list, but more like in the middle, so it might take time before I get it.

New Changes Close

I am closely going to get a lot of cool stuff, and mainly gaming hardware. One new thing that I actually already have got is a "GAME, fake leather, music powered, gaming seat". And it's really cool. I am going to post a review about it closely, and also post some other stuff about it here. I am also going to get a lot of money to spend, and some of my targets will be a new iMac 21,5" or 27", a MacBook Pro 13", 15" or 17", new gaming equipment from Razer (Mouse, Mousepad, Keyboard and other), and a lot of other cool stuff. I cannot update this a lot now, but I will update more after a while when I will be back home from my long vacation.

Hope y'all who have read this blog won't be yet disapointed by it's lame content, because it will be a lot better in a close future, I promise you.

HP 2159m - Added To Shopping List

HP 2159 is quite something for a relatively low price. It's a 21,5", Full HD, HDMI, input speakers (2X2W), with 1-3ms response time and all other really cool stuff.

It has so many features (HDMI, DVI, VGA, 2 speakers, Full HD, good response time) and a so low price, that it is a must get for dual monitoring my MacBook Pro 13", which isn't big enough for almost anything...

Media-/Gaming Keyboard - "Before Owning" Review 2.5*/5*

This one was a rather easy to choose from the group because it has such a remarkable design. It is designed for both media and gaming usage, and it has 4 media buttons. It does not say that it supports Mac OS X which is quite radical, even if I know that it will work on Mac OS X. Overall it will get 2.5*/5* because it is really cheap and at least for now, pleasing me enough.

7 Port USB Hub - "Before Owning" Review 3.5*/5*

This little fellow here takes it's power from an external source than USB 2.0, so I don't have the risk that my 3,5" External Hard Drives wouldn't work with it, since it's the main reason I am going to get it.
It's going to cost me about 22€ + delivery, which is not that much for quality stuff. It does say that it supports Mac OS X, which is a big plus, even if almost every single USB electronic works with Mac OSX. It is well worth the money I say, so it get's 3.5*/5* for now.

New Hardware

I am going to get new computer hardware for both gaming, media, audio, video and photo editing, and simply casual use. The main thing in my shopping list right now is a "super efficient" new MacBook Pro 15" High Definition screen with 4 GB of RAM, a 2.66 GHz i7 processor, 500GB 7200rpm internal hard drive, Aluminium Unibody case, 8-9h of video watching guaranteeing battery and other cool stuff. Also, I am getting a 1.5 TB 7200rpm External Hard Drive with USB output/input (I want to use it with both my PS3 and new MacBook Pro),  a "cool" media/gaming keyboard, DeathAdder gaming mouse, a HP 2159m (21,5" Full HD, HDMI output/input, input speakers 2X2W), a seven port USB HUB and other random stuff that I haven't clearly decided yet. I will make a new page named "Shopping List", and I will link the reviews of these items so that you can read them from there.

"Prologue"

Hi all guys and gals who are reading this, I hope it won't be too boring for you. First of all I just want to explain a little bit about for what purpose I made this blog, so here we go: I made this blog, it's texts and other content with my own experience, and some loaning here and there (mostly photos of games). I wanted first to show off my humble games collection, but also to help people find good games. Who knows, if this blog get's popular enough, I might start posting all the new games, and review them (even without hand on experience), so that you will get all the required information from my blog. Now, in the beginning however, I am asking for a little patience, since making a new blog and updating it to the date doesn't happen in one night. I am sure that you do not like this awfully regrettable waiting process, but I am afraid it is something that you will just have to deal with until the blog's starting to rise from it's birth. Let us start this long journey by going to watch and drool on my PS3 games collection. Until the end of the next week (25.7.2010), I will have hopefully granted you with the ful collection of my Wii games, and of course my very large collection of games for Mac (Macintosh).

ATTENTION!!! I did not make this blog for being an other platform of Mac Vs. PC, Xbox 360 Vs. PS3 etc... This blog is for educational purposes only and I am not responsable for anything that happens to you while/after/before/due to reading this blog!!!
